Born in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, Carolina began her career as a children’s book illustrator after working for several well-known animation studios. She currently lives in La Plata with her husband, Marcelo and their two beautiful children, Sara and Francisco. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in art, she began teaching at the university. She continues to teach with the same passion and dedication that is also evident in her illustrations. Over the years she has published books, sometimes as both the author and illustrator. Carolina likes to spend her free time drawing even while traveling with her family. She only needs a sharp pencil to keep her creativity flowing. Her artwork is created using a variety of mediums with a preference towards watercolors and acrylics. To date, Carolina is part of the White Ravens 2008 list for the Bologna Book Fair, where she has also been selected to represent Argentina.

Born in the heartland of south-central Minnesota, John’s first formal art education came at the age of ten from a local artist who taught classes out of his garage. Upon finishing high school, John enrolled in the College of Visual Arts on Summit Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota. John’s first place of employment featured designers, illustrators, cartoonists, and photo retouching. That experience left John wanting to be able to do as many different mediums as possible. So to this day, he not only works in traditional mediums, but he also has extensive experience with several digital programs, including 3D.

Sue Ramá is an award-winning illustrator that combines a child-like and fine art sensibility. She has illustrated over fifteen books for children. Sue uses traditional and digital media, often in digital collage. She is known for her intelligence, sensitivity and her narrative sense, particularly her ability to convey expression. She is also a gifted watercolorist, portrait painter and whiteboard animator.

Based in Brighton, UK, Peter has created fresh, bright artwork for over 15 years. Being heavily influenced by a love of animation he spent a number of years working as an illustrator in children's television. Jennifer Zivoin is a children's book illustrator living in Carmel, Indiana. Known for his images of elegance, Joel Spector was born in Havana, Cuba, came to the United States at the age of twelve and currently lives in New Milford, CT. He graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and attended the Art Students League and received his MFA at WCSU in 2005. Joel started out in the field of fashion illustration then moved on to general illustration and has been working on well-known accounts throughout the years. His work has been published in books, children’s books, magazines, newspapers, advertising and annual reports. Honors include; Award winner at the 2011 International Portrait Competition in Atlanta, GA; award winner in the Artist’s Magazine 2011 Competition; Gold Medal awards from Pastel Society of America, Society of Illustrators awards, Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America and Best in Show at the Kent Art Association. Eleykaa was born in 1967 in Japan and raised in San Francisco, Hawaii, and Japan.
