Originally a student of political science, French-Canadian artist Rémy Simard began his career as an illustrator in 1980. Working from Montreal, he creates computer-generated illustration for a large variety of clients including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Federal Express, General Motors, Citibank, Fidelity Communications, Better Homes & Gardens, Book-of-the-Month Club, McGraw-Hill and Scott Foresman, in the U.S.; and Chrysler, Nissan, Banque Nationale de Paris, Cantel, Ville de Montreal and YTV in Canada. He has also written and illustrated several children's' books, including Monsieur Noir et Blanc, a finalist for Canada's Governor's Prize. To relax after all this work, he likes to race around on his motocyclette!

Christopher Peterson's work is marked by great attention to detail, while maintaining an informal colorful and painterly feel. His creative approach is thorough and focused, sometimes reading an entire biography when starting a rock poster. Whenever possible, photographic reference must be his own. Drawing is always central to the work. Good figures and correct perspective are important while maintaining a spontaneous flair. These are the strengths that make Christopher one of the best freelance illustrators on the west coast.

Having been the president of the San Francisco Society of illustrators, he knows this business of illustration inside and out. He is a member of the Society of Illustrators, the US Air Force Art Program, ASIP, a leading organization in the fight for copyright protection and a royalties collection society for artists. He has taught illustration at both California College of Art and the Academy of Art College.

His rock posters have won major national recognition. He has created posters for Paul McCartney, Phish, The String Cheese Incident, Sting, Eric Clapton, Elvis Costello, John Hiatt, Taj Mahal and Gloria Estefan. There is a section on his work in the Art of Modern Rock (Chronicle books, 2004). His poster for John Lee Hooker won a Gold Medal in the San Fancisco Society of Illustrators, and won a place in the New York Society of Illustrators annual show and book- Illustrators 42 (Watson-Guptil, 1998). He has in fact created more than 80 posters for a variety of venues and bands. His original paintings hang in the halls of the Pentagon, as a part of the US Air Force Art program. His work has been published in the Los Angeles Society of illustrators annual book, and in Print magazine's regional design annual. In 1995, he won the bronze medal for advertising in the San Francisco society of illustrators show, in1996 he won gold, silver, and bronze medals in the San Francisco society of illustrators show.

Christopher Peterson was born in New York in 1957, and grew up in Westport, Connecticut. He received his education at the Art Institute of Boston, and then at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and began his career as an Illustrator in New York City in 1980. Mattia was born in Cuneo, a small town surrounded by the beautiful Italian Alps. At 2-3 years old, besides eating a lot of pasta, his father (an artist in his own right!) introduced and encouraged Mattia to draw. As a result, he spent most of his time creating funny images on every surface he could find. When Mattia grew up, he decided to study illustration at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Turin. Within eight months of graduation, he landed his first Illustration job, a book titled My First Picture Dictionary for Rass Language House, Hong Kong. Mattia resides in Cuneo and when not illustrating, he enjoys playing basketball, traveling around the world, playing his bass guitar, and skiing on the Alps.

A native Ohioan, Chris O'Leary was born in Youngstown and studied painting at the Columbus College of Art and Design. John grew up in Bogotá, Colombia and studied graphic design at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He still lives there with his wife Ana and 2 children, Avril and Ian. He is fortunate enough to work in his home studio, where he is able to share his passion of drawing and painting with his children while working on projects. He started drawing at an early age and when he was six year old, his parents enrolled him in his first painting, sculpture, and character design class. Jomike Tejido is an architect and award-winning illustrator and author who has made over 50 children’s books in his hometown in Manila. Some of which are Tagu-Taguan (Hide and Seek) (1st National Children’s book awards, Best Reads 2010), The Amazing Hat, and the Foldabots Toy Books. He has also worked with Oxford University Press, McGraw-Hill, and most recently, Scholastic. Apart from art, Jomike enjoys playing soccer, eating seafood, cooking and traveling to new places. Jomike lives in Manila, Philippines with his wife and baby daughter, Sophia.

Tom began work as senior art director for JP Morgan Chase in New York City, shortly after receiving his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1993. Two years later, he was illustrating for nationally-known publications, including Time magazine, Rolling Stone, the Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, Sports Illustrated, Business Week, TV Guide, Barron's, Forbes and Smart Money. Born in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, Carolina began her career as a children’s book illustrator after working for several well-known animation studios. She currently lives in La Plata with her husband, Marcelo and their two beautiful children, Sara and Francisco. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in art, she began teaching at the university. She continues to teach with the same passion and dedication that is also evident in her illustrations. Over the years she has published books, sometimes as both the author and illustrator. Carolina likes to spend her free time drawing even while traveling with her family. She only needs a sharp pencil to keep her creativity flowing. Her artwork is created using a variety of mediums with a preference towards watercolors and acrylics. To date, Carolina is part of the White Ravens 2008 list for the Bologna Book Fair, where she has also been selected to represent Argentina.

When Martha Napier took the leap and became a full-time freelance illustrator in 2013, the world of fashion design lost a wonderful creator, but the world of illustration gained an excellent artist. Martha’s vivid watercolours and loose, almost naïve style, have given a lighthearted lift to all kinds of interesting projects in fashion, advertising, editorial and more. She also does live painting for clients, and was named a top illustrator to watch on Instragram by InStyle magazine.

Martha was born in the Midwest, grew up in Germany, and today splits her time between Chicago and New York. She loves fashion – that much is clear – and her most admired designers include Miuccia Prada, Marni, and Phoebe Philo. Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Henri Matisse and Cy Twombly are three artists that inspire her.

Beyond art and fashion, she’s had a fascinating life. She’s travelled to the North Pole, and to the Galapagos Islands. “The only place I’ve seen a cactus, a flamingo and a penguin in the same location,” she says.

Martha has a BA in Studio Art from Wake Forest University, and was a Presidential Scholar at the same college in Fine Art. She discovered her love of fashion illustration at the Parsons School of Design, where she studied for a post grad degree in Fashion Design.

Watercolours are Martha’s main media, but she also uses markers, pencils and acrylics. She scans the work into Photoshop and uses the application to clean it up and colour correct it before delivering it to her clients.

Martha is very much a gestural painter, with a very fine skill in getting paints to flow from her brush and soak beautifully into the paper, and to mix with one another. Seen up close, it’s a gorgeous effect. Her work is vibrant and vivid as you can see, and full of joy and whimsy.

Mark Ward is an artist based in London. His work is derived from his obsession with Americana. Raised on a diet of Saturday morning cartoons, BMX, skateboarding, and drawing, Mark has kept true to his roots soaking up every last candy wrapper and morphing them into his surreal and comical visions. Growing up in the South London suburbs in the late 80’s, Mark was reading every possible American skateboard magazine he could get his hands on. Si’s love of music inspires the flowing nature of his hand-drawn designs, beautifully and precisely executed. He resists limitations in his own work, constantly exploring new techniques. These explorations have led to his development as a paper-cut and tattoo artist, skills which complement his already established talents as a proficient draughtsman. Si’s multi-faceted approach has led him to work across a wide spectrum of projects, from advertising campaigns to branding, publishing to editorial, and interior design to album covers.
Outside of his creative practice Si exhibits his work frequently, offers both art direction and creative consultation to clients, and gives lectures on both his experience as an artist and his knowledge of the industry. His work has been regularly awarded and featured in numerous publications, including being listed in the Best 200 Design Moments Ever by Computer Arts Magazine, and honoured twice in Luerzer's Archive - The Best 200 Illustrators In The World.

Thodoris Tibilis is a many times awarded freelancer illustrator working worldwide mostly for Ad Agencies included DDB, Bold Ogilvy,McCann, JWT, Saatchi&Saatchi, BBDO, Magnet, Publicis, FCB and Leo Burnett. Clients have included Coca Cola, WRC, Fiat, Procter & Gamble, Sanofi - Aventis, Oxford University Press, Unilever, Heinz, Glenfiddich, Algida, Carrefour, Athens 2004 Olympic games, Popeye magazine and many others.

He is specialized in stylized ilustrations, cartoon and mascot design and he also creates funny, cute and humorous illustrations - mostly for kids and teenagers.

He has worked in the cartoon animation field and has also created illustrations for magazines, fairytales, educational books, greeting cards, multimedia applications, posters, stickers, CD covers, T-shirts and merchandising for toys.

He has won many awards for his work including Astrid, Ermis and EVGE awards.

His working techniques include mainly computer generated art (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) but also watercolors, pencils, acrylics, oils, pastels, photography and sculpture.

He is available for commercial advertising projects, character and mascot design, conceptual drawings, illustrations for video games, board games and any kind of children toys.

Virginia lives above a chocolate shop in a beautiful New Hampshire village. She enjoys collecting children's books, hiking, and eating all her vegetables (except peas).
