Born in Tokyo, Japan. Naoko studied art and fashion in Tokyo at Esmod Japon. After graduating, Naoko worked as a professional designer, patternmaker and illustrator in the fashion industry for more than 8 years. In 2006, Naoko parlayed her previous illustration experience into a full time career as an independent illustrator. On January 2009, she also started creating illustrations for Stila. Utilizing unique color combination, Naoko creates attractive and delightful digital fashion illustrations of urban women , as well as young adults, teens, and tweens.
