Hawk Krall is a Philadelphia - based illustrator who specializes in colorful, dynamic type-driven food illustration that goes beyond the surface, informed by several years spent as a professional line cook.
Along with the food related work Mr Krall has been doing humorous, jam-packed editorial illustration for magazines and newspapers since graduating from Pratt Institute in 1999.
His work has been recognized by the Society Of Professional Journalists, Society Of Illustrators and Art Of The Menu.
