Currently based in Marshall, Michigan, Matt Manley has been working as a freelance illustrator for over twenty years. His illustration is primarily figurative and symbolic with surrealist leanings, and past client work includes editorial, corporate, medical, book, and higher education. Though in the end his work is technically digital collage, the process integrates both traditional and digital media. Robert Crawford graduated with a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Robert Crawford was chosen by the German car maker, Volkswagen, to do six paintings for a book which celebrated Volkswagen's 50th anniversary. Robert's work has won numerous awards from the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, Graphis and Print. His paintings have been included in group shows in New York, Japan and Germany and he participated in the United Nation's sponsored show on the environment in New York City. That painting was featured on CBS's Sunday morning with Charles Osgood. Robert Crawford's work has been selected for permanent collection by the United States government and major corporations such as British Petroleum. Some other notable collector's include, Richard Reeves, the presidential historian, and Edward Gordon of ABC television.Robert's studio is located in northwest Ct.

John Mantha is a Toronto-based illustrator.

His major commissions include the design of nine coins for the Royal Canadian Mint, one of which was chosen coin of the year. He has done commemorative pieces for The Ford Motor Company and the Toronto Transit Commission, as well as 34 paintings for The Church of Our lady Of Good Counsel.

Working for book publishers, advertising agencies, magazines, corporations, television and movies, his work has been seen throughout North America.

Thus far, John has illustrated twenty-four books, including the Kids book of Canada's Railway, which won The Children's Literature Roundtables of Canada 2001 Information Book Award, and was an official selection for the 2003 Red Cedar Book Awards. The Kids Book of Canadian Exploration was nominated for the 2006 Hackmatack Award for non-fiction.

He works in oils and oil-wash, and uses photoshop to enhance the finished piece. His style is realistic in nature with an emphasis on texture.

Richard Faust is rarely without his sketchbook, which can be better described as a visual journal and confessional. Over the years, his bookshelf full of journals have become a source to be mined for interesting ideas and insights. He also draws inspiration from mid-century design, cubism, and folk art. He has been illustrating commercial products for over ten years. After completing his BFA at The Columbus College of Art & Design, he began his career illustrating for magazine and book publishers as well as for the greeting card market. His work was featured in the 2007 Society of Illustrators Annual. His paintings have been exhibited throughout the Cleveland area, including two sold-out solo shows.

After giving marine biology a try in college, Susan decided to fall back on a more stable and lucrative profession: illustration. With her artist/writer husband Allen Crawford, she formed Plankton Art Company in 1999. Susan's stylized, graceful forms are largely inspired by nature and mid-century modernism. She has worked for Target, Warner Bros., Chronicle Books, Knopf, Ride Snowboards, Hasbro, National Geographic Kids Magazine, Discovery Channel and The Smithsonian National Zoo. The most ambitious project she's ever worked on was a series of 400 hand-rendered identification key illustrations of fish, plants and other undersea creatures for The American Museum of Natural History's Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, where her drawings are on permanent display. Susan's paintings and drawings have been exhibited at numerous galleries, most notably Jonathan LeVine Gallery in Chelsea. She lives in a historic Quaker town in Central New Jersey, where she often goes on kayak trips in the Pine Barrens to look for tree frogs and orchids.

Tracy attended San Jose State University and graduated with a degree in graphic design with a concentration in illustration/animation. For the next decade Tracy focused on building a career in graphic and web design, but Tracy's passion for telling stories through pictures persisted. In 2010, she left her design job at a children's museum to focus on being a full-time illustrator. Tracy can now be found working from home in San Jose, CA. Her daily inspirations are her son, husband, and a hairy dog appropriately named Harry. When she's not working, you'll find Tracy reading, collecting picture books, knitting, or tinkering on her computer.

I left my career as a financial magazine editor and journalist in 2005 to concentrate on my sideline of illustration full time. I am cover artist for The Week in the US and UK, and other regular clients include The Sunday Telegraph and Moneyweek. I won the (UK) Cartoon Art Trust’s Award for Caricature in 2009, and my first children’s picture book, I Need My Monster by Flashlight Press, has won six State young readers’ awards in the US and been turned into an animated short by University of Colorado, Denver. I have since illustrated five other picture books, plus several dozen black & white children’s novels. I live in Cheltenham, UK, with my wife and two sons.

Viktor Koen was born in 1967 in Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design in Jerusalem and an MFA with honors from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Mr. Koen serves on the faculty of Parsons School of Design and the MFA program of the School of Visual Arts. His images are regularly published in the NYTimes Book Review, Time, Newsweek, Esquire, Money and Forbes.

David Pintor was born in a seaside windy city named A Coruña, in the northwest of Spain. He began his career as a cartoonist in the 90′s. In 2007, he was featured in the illustrator’s exhibition at Bologna book fair, and since that time, he has collaborated with publishers all over the world. His caricatures and the simplicity of his drawings, his lines and colour choices make for a fun and elegant style. He has been awarded by SND, selected in Bratislava biennial, and selected by White Ravens list. He primarily works in Spain, but likes very much travelling all over the world with his moleskine and some pens. All of his travels appear in his drawings. He loves New York, Venezia, Paris, Sidney, Barcelona, London… He has a studio, but sometimes he likes to work in a coffee shop with soft music, nice views and a very hot coffee on the table.

Laura Huliska- Beith is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. She grew up in Omaha Nebraska, the oldest of 5 children and her siblings were the inspiration behind her first picture book, The Book of Bad Ideas (although she takes full credit for Bad Idea #143). She has since illustrated many books including Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum by Lisa Wheeler, The Recess Queen and The Worst Best Friend both by Alexis O’Neill. Most recently illustrated books are The Wild, Wild Inside (March 2010) by Kate Feiffer and The Adventures of Granny Clearwater and Little Critter (October 2010) by Kimberly Willis Holt.

Katie Vernon is an illustrator who has spent most of her life in the midwest but whose heart belongs in the mountains. Her inspiration comes from being a florist, working with alpacas, and living on a bus. Some of her favorite things include rearranging furniture, seltzer water, and two different species of animals becoming friends. Katie is also rather fond of her partner, daughter, and part-dingo dog. In 2015 Katie won the Special Studio Award in Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search competition. I am a UK based illustrator with over 25 years experience, in children's books, novelty books and graphic novels. At the heart of my drawing is a love of story, characters and unstoppable imagination and inventiveness. Gynux was born in Villefranche-sur-Saône, France and currently resides in Lyon. As a child, he had always been drawn to storytelling and illustration. Growing up, he was impressed by Rembrandt’s use of contrast in his compositions, Hirao Miyasaki’s use of detail and unique characters in his cartoons, and the color palette of Dominique Louis’s illustrations. He studied industrial engineering in college and later worked as a furniture and graphic designer. However, he came to realize that there were some boundaries which had been suppressing his creativity by solely focusing on industrial design. He craved the spontaneity that comes from being free to recreate anything from his wildest dreams and his farthest imaginations. Luckily, Gynux met some illustrators at an exhibit which brought him back into the realm of drawing and illustration. His inspiration comes from a wide range of sources – cartoons, fine arts, architecture, film and especially music. While not illustrating, he loves to travel and has visited Turkey, Austria, Spain, England, Greece, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, and Germany. Gynux also enjoys spending his free time riding his bike through the forest and playing his piano.

Like all kids, David found he loved to draw at a young age. He stuck with it through his whole life and has developed a frank, accurate approach to portraying the emotions of the subject. His influences have long included many classical artists of the 19th century and Golden Age illustrators. David studied Illustration at Brigham Young University and worked for over a decade as a Disney artist while refining his illustrative style. He can handle a range from light and stylized to realistic and accurate and has worked with clients from editorial, publishing, advertising, video game design, even coin design for the U.S. Mint. David lives with his artistic wife and four muse children in Salt Lake City, Utah.

London based Illustrator Rohan Eason works predominantly in pen and ink. He is best known for his stark black and white imagery, which plays heavily on the roles of composition and view point, and the balance between intricate detail and dark or light space.
