Scraperboard is a medium made from card layered with a layer of fine white clay,
and then a layer of black indian ink. The ink layer is scraped or scratched away to
reveal a high contrast white line. Stylistically it appears similar to a fine woodcut. It can be coloured or left in black and white.

Pete specialises in hand-drawn,
and digitally edited, scraperboard illustrations.
We will discuss the brief in detail to focus on a direction for the project.
Once detailed sketches are agreed, artwork is prepared in black and white line by hand, and then coloured and edited digitally.
Sketches and artwork are provided via email/FTP, and you can view progress on request at any stage of the project.
