Poster commissions by  her advertising clients prompted her to start an art publishing business for her own Japanese-woodblock style art prints.  From there she began working as an illustrator (specializing in packaging, publishing and promotional materials) then home accessory design (dinnerware, rugs, pillows, giftware).  Known for her woodcut style often incorporating decorative themes involving nature, animals, artisanal/organic foods.
